The NES Artist Residency in Skagaströnd, Iceland is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary residency housed in a former fish factory at the edge of the sea. In 2012, Rebecca produced an award-winning dance film here — one of the defining works of her dance film practice.

Selected as one of only 20 mid-career artists to participate in Theatre Replacement's annual two-week New Aesthetics Performance Intensive in Vancouver, Canada — one of the most competitive contemporary performance intensives. The 2017 cohort worked with instructors Vivi Tellas and Miguel Gutierrez, two of the most influential voices in contemporary performance-making.

Invited by Snow College in Ephraim, Utah to serve as a guest choreographer and artist-in-residence for their dance program. The residency offered Snow College students direct exposure to professional choreographic process, working alongside a nationally recognized dance artist in a collaborative and rigorous creative environment.

Invited by Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia to serve as guest choreographer for their dance department. The residency placed Rebecca's practice in dialogue with the university's performance community, bringing professional contemporary choreography into the academic setting and expanding the creative vocabulary of ODU's student artists.

Invited by California State University Fullerton to serve as guest choreographer-in-residence for their nationally recognized dance program. Working alongside faculty and students in Fullerton, California, Rebecca brought her choreographic process into the university environment — bridging professional practice and academic training at one of the country's leading dance programs.
